Career Transition Tip For The Week

Spring is around the corner and it’s time for you to SPRING INTO ACTION in your job search.  As the weather turns warmer people are more inclined to go out and socialize with family, friends and neighbors. People you haven’t seen in months will be working in their yards and attending outside events.

Every person who is working is someone you should include in your network.  Ask them about themselves, offer any help you could provide for them and then see if they are willing to make contacts for you as well.   Networking is all about being able to give and share before you ask for what you want!  It’s critical to remember that over 50% of Job Seekers obtain their next opportunity or career by effective networking!  It has worked for them and WILL work for you!
